I deadvoted Zaxser for now, but am happy to swap it if someone else has another idea.

It will block any day time ability and maybe voting for the upcoming day phase.

I would prefer to deadvote the Storyteller or a sibling - that is likely to be Malise-Sama - for the next deadvote to prevent them from making a hit...

Currently, we have a few suspects based on the clues. Malice-sama is revealed quite effectively as unaffiliated--and the only reasoning I can come up with for his explicit reveal to me (because I pressured him upon that 1 mafia in vampirate's lynch) that he was unaffiliated is that he is godmother. This doesn't have to be true. It could have been solely an effort to redirect my efforts on the mafia who were, at the time, much more of a threat. Malice-sama has, without question, voted for whomever I wished him in the lynch. Eventually he will have to turn against town, and I suspect that is now. Malice has a two-in-three chance of being a sibling, so a dead vote to prevent his action would be 66% likely to prevent another kill.

Peripheral possibilities, as pointed to by the clues (albeit vaguely), are Jun and Madogu Abuser. Madogu because his interests are "Breathing Eating and Sleeping" and eating is a theme in the sibling kills. Jun because "golden" is also a frequent occurance and her location is "At home, eating Goldfish." Again, the eating, but this time also with the golden.

I also strongly agree with Squidworth and Aarin as to the possibility and likelihood of Eyolo being the final mafia (and thus storyteller). He has been active on the forum elsewhere, but hasn't "touched" any public part of this game--despite having initially said that he would vote for me, he voted for no one in the elections. While he implies inactivity, his actions in other threads (and lack of response to direct inquiries) paints him as a likely mafia or unaffiliated. I guess mafia.

Regarding that peculiar vote-check, I feel that it is possible (even likely) that the storyteller masqueraded either Roxy or myself as mafia in order to try to keep the detectives from contacting us directly. This would also be reflected in vote-tallies, and both of us voted for Vampirate in that list. Thus, there is a scenario possible where the 1 mafia might not be a mafia at all. SpiritClaw16 has claimed to me to be veteran, and he claimed also to know a mafia but was unable to tell me. When Kemindul was lynched, he PMed me telling me that Kemindul was the mafia he couldn't speak about and that Kemindul had threatened his existence in the game.

I feel that he was probably telling the truth. This leads me to be inclined to believe the scenario where the storyteller masqueraded someone as mafia.

For Day 8, I intend to support the lynch of Zaxser or Malice-sama. But I am currently unsure as to which I should go after yet. Squidworth seems to think that we should attempt to get Zaxser to hit one of the siblings (but Zaxser is not as bad of a player as Squid suspects him to be, so I do not think that this will be effective).

Aarin is bluffing :/ THG is not the paranoid, or one of our detectives would have exploded when checking him. Even so, they'd hit him with the Godfather and absorb his counter hit.

The known sleeper roles we've seen die are paramedic, vigilante, serial killer, (any that I missed), stands to reason the last sleepers are detective, gossiper, +1 other - and I doubt it's another paramedic.

I also don't think there's a mad hatter anywhere in the game :D

I gave Aarin our list of suspicious cats, which was Malice-sama, Jun, SpiritClaw16 and Shadowblade Edge. In return, he sent us (apparently) the town list.

There are kill clues that point to NeoNostalgia as the piper, and Zaxser as the wolf. I'm not sure how Eyolo's name got added to the mix except through Squidworth's commentary. Of the remaining mafia roles, only two have kill power - if the town lynches one and we deadvote the other, they'll have 0 kill power tonight.

So we just need to deadvote one of the mafia's with kill power. I don't see any clues pointing towards Shadowblade so that would make him the storyteller, have no kill power, and one of the town picks for mafia (Neo/Zaxser/Eyolo) is wrong.

They had no information on the siblings up until DJROC's observation about SpiritClaw16.

However, here's the problem: That detective check BBC made said that THG, Malice or SpiritClaw16 were mafia. Townies think Malice is TFG. What do they know about SpiritClaw that makes him not seen as mafia?

TheHumbleGrasshopper raised an interesing point in chat - he didn't pardon BBC, whom he knew to be a detective, from the lynch. I assume this was because up until the lynch, Roxy was voting for Zero_Kanipan and he was two votes up; Roxy's removal from the game meant BBC was up next.

The trouble is we have three too many names.
Zaxser - mafia wolf?
NeoNostalgia OR Eyolo - mafia piper?
Malice-Sama OR SpiritClaw16 OR Shadowedge Blade - mafia storyteller.

Out of Zax, Neo, Malice, Spirit, Eyolo and Shadow, only three of those are mafia. If the town is right, and Malice is TFG, Spirit MUST be the third mafia (...unless THG really IS mafia O_o).

If we also trust that Zero really didn't sell us a bridge, that means either Zaxser or NeoNostalgia are innocent.

I am really not convinced on the argument for Neo and he gave a good account for himself previously, whereas up until now all the other mafia accused simply folded. I also am not sold for Eyolo either...except that he has a really creepy guy in the background of his myspace - http://www.myspace.com/serenityapocolypse There is a song playing too but I don't know the name of it so I can't check the lyrics :/ It's not a long stretch of the imagination to have Eyolo as the piper.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. I'll see if WonderChicken (I sent him a dead invite) has anything to add for us...

I heard today from the GM's that Roxy passed on the identities of her bodyguards to the mafia so that in the event she was killed/removed from the game (apparently she anticipated it) she could punish THG. It will be interesting to see if he survives the night.

This is plausible. My main reasons for wanting THG dead are:
A - he lied about me, and mafia-cats are the only ones who need to lie and
B - Of the dead, the following players networked or corresponded with THG: DJROC, Kaiba, Harlock, TracerBullet, TheThirdRider, Sapphire, TheWinkel, DNA, BBC, Bscar, Argui and myself. That is 12 out of 16 townie deaths, not including Umino who was taken down by one of ours >.> This is only the players we KNOW of, the other dead (Link, Midnyt, CAB et al) haven't let us know what they were up to. Probably there are more.
C - he lied to DNA about being a Mad Hatter, and has given some indications that he doesn't actually know what the Gossiper role does.

Maybe THG is individually corresponding with all of the players and that is why this paints a grim picture, however having previously tried to network with just ten players I have to say this is a crazy amount of work >.>

However the town did lynch four mafia now and I do have to admit it seems kind of odd for mafia to deliberately kill off so many of their own. Except that, the mafia players...are completely making no effort to defend themselves or change the focus of attention on to somebody else. It's going too well. Everyone's trusting THG because he picked up mafia but don't forget a hell of a lot more roled players died than mafia so far.

Re: Jun - I agree she is certainly suspicious. In the previous game (she was a member of House Montague) she didn't come forward and play with the house until I directly approached her near the end of the game. Even though I was publically outed as being Montague a week before hand. I don't think she actually pays attention to the threads.

I was thinking of the situation with SpiritClaw16 who is telling people he has a 'mafia contact'.

There's no way that the rest of the mafia would agree to SpiritClaw staying alive if he knows a mafia player, regardless of this so-called agreement they have. I expect this is because SpiritClaw's mafia friend has not told the other mafia about the agreement they have. The whole situation is actually very odd. I think the most likely conclusion is that SpiritClaw is actually a sibling, and a mafia player is the other sibling. This is why they got in to contact with each other, and how the mafia player has been able to keep SpiritClaw alive - he has told his other mafia friends about it. We've learned that the unaffiliated cannot win with town, but they can win with mafia, so...

BBC's information:

That leaves one of THG, SpiritClaw16 and Malice-sama as Mafia. I asked BK and she said that a masqueraded player would not come up on the 'how many mafia voted for player x' check.

Roxy certainly would know, but THG might not have been told - Roxy and THG shared a lot of information, but I tipped Roxy off that THG was probably mafia before she killed me. However Roxy and THG should have been coordinating the detective checks...I wonder why they didn't?

I think it's crazy for them to waste medic protection on the pardoner who had (at that point) two bodyguards still. They should have protected a bodyguard instead! I can't believe THG, if he was really pro-town, could possibly allow the detective to be lynched. He said nothing to defend BBC, not even to say "BBC is a verified townie" or the like. He knew you were a detective and you had proven it by rolechecking a bodyguard (which is the only reason I can see for them to waste a detective check like that).

Really I'm still not satisfied >.> The storyteller is a really annoying role. Instead I look at THG's tactics which so far include lying about me, lying to other people about his role, and the really high proportion of players who have revealed themselves to THG only to die immediately afterwards.
He may not be mafia or TFG but he sure isn't playing for the town.

Well i think THG can be cleared of having any anti town role so we should stop haunting the guy :) I am voting to haunt Jun as he was the deciding vote in killing BBC and i cant see why he voted the way he did other than as being mafia (Neo and Aarin were voteing to save themself and bscar is dead).

i suspect Aarin will be dead tomarrow via lynch as they are at the point where he will win if the mafia and siblings are killed. The town can't win with him around.

Something odd

I was looking at THG's list on everyone who is alive at this point, and I realized one thing that struck me as strange:

Where has Uber gone?

From analysis of past games, Uber in general is one of the more active players. If anything, he also didn't a whole lot last game, as he had told all of us to keep quiet.
I'm not saying that Uber is mafia or anything. heck, it might not be anything at all - maybe he has RL troubles or something. But he has been around in the forums in general, and it's not like him to be this quiet.

My first check as a detective was a vote check on the first Vampirate vote. The answer was only 1 of the people that voted for Vampirate was mafia. Rox (alledged town sleeper), THG (alledge town gossip), Wonder Chicken (alleged town boadyguard), thethirdrider (confirmed town medic), SpiritClaw16 (still alive), ChaoticAtomBomb (townie), Malice-sama (still alive) were on that vote.

From a THG PM:
"Also, I'm hoping that you might help me solve a riddle. Vampirate's voters had 1 mafia in them. Malice-sama claims to not be mafia, but that only leaves Rox Da Box and SpiritClaw16 if Malice tells the truth (which he very-well could be). Rox claims to be sleeper and has been working with me fully in search of mafia, and SpiritClaw16 has claimed to be veteran with a mafia-buddy whose identity he couldn't tell me (because it would mean his death)."

So SpiritClaw16 is a possible vet and Malice is then mafia? Or Rox is just a big lair!! :)

My second check was a role check on THG. He is the town gossip. (at least that is what he was on the day I checked, 2nd day).

My third check was a role check on Wonder Chicken at the suggestion of THG on day three. Wonder Chicken is one of the town bodyguards (or was on that day).

Its really sad they didn't even know who their own bodyguards were.

I believe THG was protected the night I was lynched. He PMed me and said he was sorry that there was nothing he could do for me.

The only person I was communicating with was THG. Besides Rox I do not know who else knew I was the detective.

Also note that it seems the names Elilea posted, at least one of them (Argui) is false. Nobody has commented on it in public yet. Elilea thinks he's a real clever cat, so I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of those names was real. He is counting on somebody killing one of the invalid targets (eg Argui) and thinking 'lol, Elilea is all lies' and thus hiding the real threat.

As it stands Elilea is really pissing me off. It's a pity he can't be killed again :/

Sorry, my internet exploded during the middle of last week so I can only update sporadically.

Short version - Roxy was removed from the game because the not only accessed this blog but she was dumb enough to provide proof of it. Then she threatened the GM's that she would break the game if they punished her.

That is the reason I held off on posting TTR's mails; she can't do any damage if she doesn't have any information.

Rather ironically, if she hadn't autolynched me, there wouldn't be a deadblog, and she'd be alive now >.>

well we finally have a dead detective. I sent him a few questions (who knew he was a detective, who did he rolecheck and when and did he run any vote checkes).

Sky I know we have to be careful about who to invite here but i'll vouch for BBC, He doesn't take part in the drama bullshit and won't cheat.

TheThirdRider sent me some useful e-mails. I'm going to share them with you now.

First e-mail:

"Only two people knew of my role, Rox and THG. Rox knew because I approached her with a deal to sell my services in exchange for favors. If she were mafia this would have been beneficial and I doubt she would have killed me. THG was proclaiming playing his cards close to his vest. He told me he was gossiper when I first introduced myself, I believe he has powers similar to that as he referenced my night actions and correctly said I was farmer john, or faithful john in the narrative. Close enough that I believe it was a slip swapping faithful and farmer.

Sagi approached me (citeing what we did last game) as being town and roled, he said he could demonstrate his power later to prove himself, but he told me no more than that.

Spiritclaw approached me (also the same as last game) saying he was town and that he had met a mafia player first in this manner but they had made a deal and so he couldn't share their name.

I covered harlock night one. I absorbed one hit but you can see that he still died, siblings I expect as no one but myself know of harlock being covered. Night two I introduced myself to THG and I was covering aarin but THG said he needed me to switch to thewinkel who was in danger and is supposed to be the other medic and covering aarin. I covered the winkel night 3 too. I was never informed of absorbing a hit after night one.

I don't want to screw THG over completely (there are a couple emails I could forward as yet) as I'm not convinced yet that he is mafia. I haven't read all the blog yet. Is it revenge that drives you or do you really believe his guilt?"

My response:

"Well here's the situation: some of the dead aren't bothering to play at the moment. In fact only myself, Kaiba, Harlock and you are even contributing information. Link, ChaoticAtomBomb and a few others are on the blog but they don't do anything.

We aren't sharing information with the mafia for obvious reasons. We also know that Elilea is dead talking and has received numerous warnings from the mods about it however he just doesn't seem to get it. Tell him nothing, except what you'd like to be shared with everyone :D

Aarin claims to be townie and just working with the mafia for now but the reality is that his win conditions work with either faction. If he makes any obvious pro-town move, the mafia will kill him. He will use any information he comes across and sell it to both sides to keep himself alive. He hasn't got any choice really. He has to make himself useful to everyone or they will kill him. So I'd recommend against giving information to Aarin. My original hope was that he would coordinate with the dead to help pass the information we had learned to the town, however he has not acted in good faith. We need to give him some good information – like some additional mafia player names – so that he will trust us.

Originally I wanted THG dead because he lied about me so I was sure he was mafia. But now I'm not 100% sure about THG. None of us are. In the first days thread I warned the town that THG had lied about me, as did Roxy. From this alone I was certain that he was mafia, and numerous other things popped up or happened (for example, Harlock predicted that they would sacrifice Vampirate ((even before the town knew he was mafia)) to make THG look like a good guy) continued to paint him in a dangerous light.

However this is the third mafia that the town has lynched. It's a very long stretch of imagination to think that THG is a mafia player at this point. However we're pretty sure he's not pro-town either, which Harlock suggested probably indicates he is one of the siblings or the Fairy Godmother. The truth is, we really don't know. However we do know that THG wanted me dead, he wanted the towny sleepers dead (he told this to DJROC. DJROC was a sleeper vigilante. The day after he told his role he got killed) and that somehow both Harlock and the paramedic protecting him – that were known to THG – are also dead. There are also numerous instances of him lying about his role (saying to one person he was a gossiper, saying to another person that he didn't know anything about the gossiper role) and lying to people

I think the most likely situation is that THG is actually a townie, but his network has a giant leak in it (however this does not explain why he is lying to so many people). The second most likely is that THG is actually mafia or a sibling/godmother.

By the way, we think SpiritClaw is either mafia or set up to be mafia by the mafia. It's explained on the blog, basically DJROC picked the pattern that mafia are using to place hits and SpiritClaw SHOULD have been hit but was not.

Basically, if you're interested, please share these e-mails you have, and any additional information, with myself, DJROC and Harlock. If it's ok, I'd like to put them (and this e-mail) up on the blog, however I figure since you sent this just to me I should keep it private for now.

I've been telling the mafia that I want THG dead for revenge to try and sound out how they felt about him. But if we get some good intel that says he is the real deal, then I won't be after his head. I want the town to win more than I want vengeance :D

Below is THG last email to me, and the one that contains the most useful information. This may help resolve some things:

I'll maintain that TheWinkel is a likely target for tonight, moreso now that I do not have my mafia-contact covering him. Otherwise, Aarin MUST survive at least until more of town dies, and TheWinkel is covering Aarin again, imo.

Thus, please cover TheWinkel. My 50-50 coin flips have a 100% rate because I'm basing the answer off of strange little threats and vague feelings. Elilea is not my medic because he is unproven, aggressive, and attempting to learn my bodyguards in order to "lynch" them.

This is the list of people that I trust absolutely: ChoaticAtomicBomb, barbara (both townies), Gasp! Its Jake (paranoid), and yourself. A frighteningly small list, but this list of people have been absolutely proven either by the lynching of mafia or some other form or role-check verification (none of which have been done by detectives, ironically).

Beyond this list, there are many players that I kinda sorta trust with some vague hints at information. They would be bscar (townie), uberlegen (townie), Sapphire (veteran), TheWinkel (medic), BBC (detective), Sagi (detective), DNA_Styx (sleeper), and Roxy (sleeper). Beyond Roxy, uberlegen, and TheWinkel, I am not communicating with any not-verifiable role in any real way until they are more certainly verified through my increasingly trusted detectives. Thus, I do not trust Sapphire, bscar, or DNA with hardly any information at all.

Be careful when talking with Zaxser, Elilea, and malice-sama. In fact, I would strongly suggset that you don't. They are my current list of suspect mafia, with Elilea coming in highest and malice-sama coming a bit more distantly in second--waiting on detective vote-checks~"

Godmother?

Well, with the whole THG Rox controversy, I'd like to ask a question. Is it possible that they are the godmother/siblings?
The objective of the godmother is to simply spread death and destruction as they are the only ones who can survive. That is exactly what has been going on. If THG is actually mafia, then he is sacrificing too many of his members. If he is townie, then he has been too bloody still. The only role that would make sense is Godmother.
Moreover, this would mean that Rox is one of the siblings.
So, what are your thoughts?

Watching the Villians

Well, with my death, townies just lost another vigilante.

At the time of my death the only person I had talked to was THG, and was the only person I revealed that my role was "Sleeper" to (and not that I had been activated as a vigilante). During that conversation, THG expressed concern that the sleepers "might be bad for the town", citing Dr. Jekyll and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Thus far I've only been examining clues, some of which I told to THG the other night, and some new stuff that I'm also going to toss out:

Hit by the same killer: "30 circles" for Robin's death; "30 walks" before Papa Bear's skinning; and the Tinman "Ticked and Tocked" 30 times before his dismantling.

Hit by the same killer: The Pied Piper (Who, if linked by the mouse reference because of the Rox Red Herring, also hit the BRT).

A "Bzou" is a werewolf, and the wolfish description of the killer is quite similar in both narratives.

"The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West"
If the narrative is to be believed and if I recall my Maguire correctly, the narrative indicates that Frère Jacques died by the hand of the Witch of the East; Elphaba's sister, who required the silver slippers to walk. She may be one of the town's remaining Sleepers with kill power.

I'm going to guess that the narrative characters of the three mafia (of four remaining w/ kill power) are: The Wolf, from "Little Red Riding Hood"; Lord Bluebeard, from "Bluebeard"; and The Pied Piper, from "The Pied Piper of Hamlin". Villains all, to be sure.

But Vamp wasn't online, so...I asked her if there was some mafia dead talk guy. Of course she couldn't say either way, except to say "Nobody except Aarin should be talking to you." My idea was that maybe Elilea could still talk to mafia somehow, so I wanted to test that out...

Spada-chat

I forgot to mention this earlier.

Spada entered the #playground chat after he died. In fact, fourteen minutes after he died.

I didn't tell him the address and Vampirate was offline at the time.

So this means somebody else told him, or Vampirate gave him the address before he died.

I think Vampirate was dead-talking, but this is plausible if we consider that the Priest can probably dead-talk to Mafia players. So do be careful what you say to dead mafia players :/

Now what?

'THe question is do we still really think THG is mafia still? The schizo is a hard role to give up (i would have thought they would have done the GF first really) as it gives you occasional detective abilities (good for rooting out other detectives) medic and paranoid ability (good in end game play) etc.' -- Jole

The case for THG to not be mafia is certainly building.

I'm still concerned that THG is a dangerous liability for the town. They got two mafia, sure, but both times it has been a 50% guess...it's a little TOO lucky. At the same time, we've lost a hell of a lot of roled players. There are about 17 green player and 18 blue players. There's a leak, but it might be going both ways. However we're losing more than they are at the moment.

Furthermore, it seems THG's information is a little too good. Every time now it has been THG leading the charge to get somebody lynched. What, nobody else knows anything? I don't believe it's just good networking and people are happily telling THG all their roless. Somebody is passing information both ways.

Spada tried to get a counter lynch going against THG. However, Spada neglected to vote himself. He didn't really try to defend himself. When I asked Spada about this, he couldn't give a reason and continued to dance around the subject.

Vampirate tried to protect THG in #playground, and Spada was mysteriously silent when asked.

I think it may be some benefit to us to try to solve some of these clues. At the very least, we can help direct Aarin to known mafia targets.

I may be bias against Hopper just becuase he lied about me. However he did lie, there was no reason for him to lie if he was a townie, and he is not so valuable to the town that if he died it is GG mafia. I do think it would be a benefit to the town if he died. At the moment the forums are dead >.>

So while I am not averse to haunting somebody else such as TTR, I do want THG to die.

Well Harlock called it, and this is another nail in the THG is mafia coffin.

At this point it's sadly obvious that Aarin's working with the mafia; the lack of the deadvote tonight and failing to pass information around (including not even checking this blog) paints a grim picture.

when will the necro die?

I know y'all think that the necro will die tonight but i don't see that happening unless both Rox and THG are townies. Both of them know they are likely corpse lynch targets (and will be more of one if Vamp/Urber get lynched and are townies) so i doubt they would be willing to risk getting lynched by killing the necro. This is still true if just one of them is mafia (since i doubt they know who we will kill, I'd say it's about 50/50 either way). However if they are both innocent then the necro will certainly die because the mafia knows we will do their work for them by killing a target they can't night kill. In this case i say taking out Rox is better than taking out THG (unless we get information about another target) as i don't think Rox is trying to win, she just wants attention.

I wouldn't count on the necro to say anything to us till he's dead as he doesn't want any of us blabbing what he knows in case we talk to the living. I'm sure he'll spill his knowledge after he dies (and before he dies it doesn't really matter much does it ;)).

Oh and the town may be mobilizing behind the scenes, there is a big lack of votes thus far.

one last thing... anyone else see the possibility that the mafia is sacrificing Vamp to make a mafia THG 'Mr good cop'? I find it odd he's not defending himself (and has been in the post from time to time).

Anyways, my analysis.
While I initially thought that only Roxy was mafia, Sky has gone and convinced me that THG is one too. I'm in with whatever plan he has got, for now.

I don't know how to make it any more obvious.

THG lied to get me killed, and worked with Rox to do it.

THG is using your kill of Umino as evidence to get rid of Uber, and outed Vampirate as a townie at the same time. We knew mafia would do this.

THG said that the mafia strategy was to kill of the active and dangerous players. THE FIRST PERSON THEY KILLED WAS ME and THG wanted me dead.

THG said you would have paramedic protection and instead you died.

THG is asking for all the players to give him their roles and to network with him, and wanted to kill me because I wasn't going to give him townie roles.

Every player who was opposed to THG or Roxy is dead except Uberlegen. THG is trying to get Uberlegen lynched today.

THG was the ring leader of seacows.

Robod-cat publically warned Roxy to play to her role.

Roxy and Midnyt are in #zomgirc.

THG is making a big deal to distance himself from Rox and to set her up for the lynch today. The only one who can save her from the lynch is...you guessed it! THG.

We want the town to lynch THG today, but they won't - we'll be lucky if they lynch Roxy. If Aarin would say something for us we could make a difference. However at the moment there is nothing we can do except try to clue the town in by deadvoting THG.

Both Roxy and THG are dangerous to the town and mafia or otherwise they have to go.

Roxy and I also had a small incident. She seems to be under the mistaken impression I want her dead more than I want THG dead.

At the moment, Aarin is either afk, actually dead, or doing his own thing. It's so frustrating.

Uber may be mafia, but the knife clue doesn't point to him. In the previous game BK made it clear she wouldn't use things like member numbers, avatars or signatures as clues. So this is either narrative text, a different kind of clue, or a red herring.

If I were Mafia, I would have masqueraded hopper cat to make him into mafia so that detective checks would come back as 'zomg wtf'.

Kaiba is confident that Hopper is a Gossiper, and maybe Roxy is a sleeper. THG gave Harlocks' identity away to an unknown source, and he exposed Vampirate and Uberlegen to get killed tonight. I expect many more town players to die to THG's hands before we finally get rid of him.

Current predictions: Aarin still thinks he will survive tonight. So he won't do anything. The town will want to lynch Rox or Uberlegen. Aarin will die tonight (along with Uber if he isn't lynched). I want to corpsekill THG but I think most want to corpsekill Roxy. Roxy is going to get lynched today, tomorrow or some time soon, but the REAL threat to the town is THG and him being mafia/his network being infiltrated. Both Rox and THG have to go.

For some reason, the mods didn't post the vote tally. It's the first time that it wasn't posted so it was a big surprise for me. They gave the reason of 'only one person has voted' but imho who that person was should have been revealed.

I can't reply in the main thread, so here's the responses I would loved to have made :D

THG's original reasoning for having me killed;

I had to go to work and there simply wasn't enough time for me to frame a good enough reply. Essentially, the vast majority of this paragraph is a big lie.

Since there's been a history of either the mayor or the pardoner being a mafia member themselves, this is a pretty damn sensible thing to do.

If we see THG die tomorrow (which would be my hope) we can add THG to the list of fucking idiot players who should never be listened to again. In the event he turns out to be a non-mafia member, it's even more ridiculous. There's no reason for a townie to lie to get another townie killed.

I am not a paranoid player. I WAS KILLED. This is not paranoia! This is well justified and proven, and further reinforces that I was telling the truth, and THG and Roxy lied.

If THG is mafia, he did the right thing - he recognised me as a major threat and got me taken down. If he's a townie he's a liability and needs to go. Either case - he needs the same fate as Jeffu.

Uberlegen accused me of seeing things in black and white and cut and dry. He is correct. That is because I can see a lie when it is put before me and know what it means about the person who lied.

Yes, absolutely. This was a small trap to try to force Roxy to stand up to what she told me in private. Because if she would do that, I would trust her with the network, and if she wouldn't do that then I knew she was dangerous to me. When she posted and didn't support me, I knew I was dead. That is why I edited in the other comments later (before the lynch was done) to implicate her if I died.

The reality is, you are either with the town, or you're not. So this 'With us or against us' attitude is fundamentally correct, however the application of this is probably another story. I'm certain there's a better way than how I am currently doing it.

Jake, wtf? I have never put a red herring in the game. Other people (notably mafia and seacows) always attribute clues to me. Black Kitty put red herrings in (twice!) for me in the previous game. The only clues I put in were the Montague clues to try to protect Santa.

Regardless, there already is a role that puts red herrings in - that is the Storyteller, something I clearly am not.

Finally, why would a townie want to add red herrings to clues that help narrow down the mafia?
