The living's list is currently a combination of clue-analysis (as with malice, jun, and madogu for siblings and Zaxser for mafia) and unknown player analysis (of which, Eyolo has been quite suspect, but Shadowblade Edge may also fall in line with. I believe that the exact line that we red herring checked was presented on Zaxser. But if it hasn't, look at Aarin's hit in Day 2's thread closely. Note especially the gift from a certain painter. Then look at Zaxser's avatar--which is in the style of the same region and era of painter. The "gift from a certain ______ Gerard" is not a red herring, as proven by trusted townie Sarck. umhyuk is also super-trusted townie--having fronted the bulk of the clues that damned both Kemindul and zero_kanipan (as well as having offered a good deal of red herring checks).
