Chat with DJROC

I asked if I could put this chat log up so that DJROC's thoughts don't get lost forever on the intarwebs:

Sky_Work> You were killed by Bluebeard.
DJROC> Yup.
Sky_Work> The story goes (in brief) that a girl is married to a cruel and terrible, but super rich...oh, you know.
DJROC> Yup.
DJROC> Did a whole play about it and everything.
Sky_Work> So she opens a room where all the dead wives are and she gets guttted. Ok.
Sky_Work> So rather ironic, then.
DJROC> In my blog post too.
Sky_Work> Oh!!
Sky_Work> I'll go read it now, thank you!
DJROC> Sure.
DJROC> You probably know most of it anyway, but, eh.
Sky_Work> To be honest we had only guessed bluebeard and the piper. We knew that there was a wolf type character but ...nobody actually thought little riding hood >.>;;
DJROC> Well, googling "Bzou" kinda gave that one away. Mafiacat obviously reads up on fairytales at wikipedia.
Sky_Work> ./me nods
Sky_Work> I googled it previously and the story came up
Sky_Work> It's the same one that BK talked about with the rope tied to the leg thing.
DJROC> ?
Sky_Work> Oh
Sky_Work> Ah....
Sky_Work> At one point she said in mirc that there was an original version of the little red riding hood where the wolf was a man, and the man sleeps with her.
Sky_Work> And then kills her >.>
Sky_Work> Bad ending~
Sky_Work> But over the years, the story has gradually changed.
DJROC> Ah. So supporting the werewolf thing.
Sky_Work> Yes.
Sky_Work> It does seem to be werewolf hints, not wolf hints.
Sky_Work> So I wonder if we have a LARPer in the forum.
DJROC> Why a LARPer?
Sky_Work> Because Live Action Role Playing communities include two specific groups - Masquerade (Vampires) and another group, werewolves.
Sky_Work> I'll trawl through the player accounts overnight~
Sky_Work> Bluebeard is also a pirate imo~
* DJROC chuckles.
Sky_Work> Oh, I just reread it - you were activated as a vigilante! Did you get to place any hits?
DJROC> Had no targets to go after.
DJROC> imo
DJROC> Huh... just noticed the pattern in mafia targets.
Sky_Work> Oh?
DJROC> LoL Patrol, CAB, TTR, and I all voted against Spada yesterday.
Sky_Work> I had 'people against rox' 'people who support rox' but didn't look closely today.
Sky_Work> OH
Sky_Work> Hrmm
DJROC> That's the bottom four, skipping SpiritClaw16
Sky_Work> That looks bad for SpiritClaw16.
DJROC> Either that, or an excellent frame by the mafia.
Sky_Work> Deliberate, perhasp?
Sky_Work> Given the mafia consists so far of Vampirate, Elilea (who is apparently an idiot) and...well I guess Spada is not an idiot...
Sky_Work> Still, worth mentioning. Maybe you want to PM Aarin about that?
DJROC> Sure, I can do that.
DJROC> What mafia died first? Vampirate?
Sky_Work> Ah.....yes. Vampirate, then Spada, then Elelia.
Sky_Work> I can never spell that guys name right. But I see where you're going with this.
Sky_Work> I wouldn't be surprised if they picked targets based on who voted for who in the election either.
DJROC> Odd... bscar and umhyuk voted for Spada and not Vampirate in the day 2 lynch vote.
Sky_Work> That IS odd (and I remember seeing it but we didn't have a detective to check them). However, in the previous game, we hit bscar for the same reason - he voted for Skulkraken along with major_pain, neo_nostalgia and one other person whom I forget.
Sky_Work> I'll add them to our suspicious cats list, along with SpiritClaw16~
DJROC> To have two Mafia being voted for on the same day, that just seems a bit weird.
Sky_Work> They might have been tipped off/told to vote Spada and then...huh. I wonder why they didn't get hit themselves?
DJROC> I suppose if they had died, that would have been incredibly obvious that Spada was a mafia.
DJROC> Otherwise why would his voters die, right?
Sky_Work> Yes. I guess so notsure
* Sky_Work is simple~
DJROC> I guess the questions would be "Were they tipped, and if so, who tipped them?"
Sky_Work> At this point I'd say THG has his fingers in all the pies, so it'd be his doing.
DJROC> Has a detective checked THG yet? (That you know of.)
Sky_Work> Not that I know of.
Sky_Work> However if he is mafia, he would definately be masqueraded, and if he is not, mafia would surely have masqueraded him to appear as mafia.
Sky_Work> Harlock said that THG claimed to be a Gossiper, like me.
Sky_Work> A gossiper gets one 100% accurate clue per night phase.
DJROC> That's very suspicious.
DJROC> As I recall talking about the gossiper with him last night, and him being rather "ignorant" about it, iirc.
Sky_Work> That IS very suspicious.
Sky_Work> Harlock said that THG told him he was a Gossiper prior to my death and reveal.
Sky_Work> So that would mean that THG really is a gossiper, or somebody else talked.
Sky_Work> However in either case, he should have known.
Sky_Work> No reason to lie to a townie - isn't that what he said in public? ^_~
DJROC> Suppose so.
* DJROC thinks he should start saving logs.
* Sky_Work thinks so too
Sky_Work> I don't know how to do it using mIRC, I have to manually copy paste everything.
Sky_Work> Do you mind if I put this conversation on the blog?
DJROC> Nah.
Sky_Work> THG is putting up more people for Jury Duty~
Sky_Work> Now Sapphire, CitizenX, Zero_Kanipan and 1337guard.
DJROC> Jury Duty confuzzles me.
DJROC> Is he trying to stir up voting power?
Sky_Work> I think he is trying to get people to vote so they can be detective checked with a 'how many Citizens voted for player x' check.
Sky_Work> What I would love to see is for them to get pissed off and vote for THG.
DJROC> Hmm. Interesting.
Sky_Work> It is a similar thing that I did as Lord Montague, however I was never so audacious as to suggest that I was the one doing the writing.
Sky_Work> Also, never in public. I wonder how effective it will be.
Sky_Work> A threat is no good if you can't back it up.
DJROC> Well, I've gotta start heading to bed. Talk to you later.
